A “W” for The Win

This past weekend I traveled to Winthrop University for “The Win”. It was my ten-year reunion and I was too excited. The weekend was filled with friends, food, and fun. I ate, partied, and slept the entire weekend. It was great dressing up and going out with friends old and new.

My favorite part of the weekend was the tailgate. Tailgating was on Saturday at the coliseum and I couldn’t decide what to wear. It was chilly but warmer than I expected. So, I opted for a cowl neck sweater dress and a blanket scarf. I paired this outfit with dark brown boots. I know the dark brown boots were a little too dark for the outfit, but my goal was to stay comfortable, cute, and warm.

All in all, I am glad I had my blanket scarf because later that day the temperature dropped and I was freezing. A blanket scarf makes it easy to stay warm during the fall months. It is easier to carry than a coat because you can fold and drape it in various ways. If the temperature drops, then you can wrap yourself in it to stay warm.

Love,
