Today, I was my own Faux-tographer. For Christmas, I purchased myself a nice gift. It was a gift that was long overdue and many years coming. If you guessed it by the title, I purchased myself a new camera. Merry Christmas to me! I purchased the Canon G7X Mark II. After extensive research (watching lots of vlogs and reading a lot of blogs) and lots of overthinking, I made my move. I am very pleased with my purchase.
Top reasons I purchased this camera:
- Convenience- this camera is small, but it packs a lot of power. It can easily fit into a purse or a tote. Canon even sent this camera with a cute custom fit carrying case. The case can be worn on a belt, if you are a guy or you can use the shoulder strap if you are a girl.
- Image Stabilization- This camera is one the top vlogging cameras for 2017. With image stabilization video recording is seamless. It’s easy to record yourself, if you know what I mean. Hint! Hint! A vlog channel maybe coming soon!
- Great Pics- Since this camera was great for vlogging, then it is an automatic when for still shots.
